Important Notice About VPN Traffic

迅狐 (Foxlink VPN) does not record or store the contents of communications transmitted through the VPN as user activity logs.

We do not record the contents of webpages you visit, search terms entered on third-party websites, chat or instant messaging content, email contents, files transmitted through third-party applications, or other communication contents transmitted through the VPN for the purpose of monitoring browsing behavior, creating user profiles, or serving behavioral advertising.

However, certain technical and account-related information must be processed in order to establish and maintain VPN connections, calculate data usage, provide paid services, protect account and network security, manage devices, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical problems. Such information may include account information, device information, IP addresses, VPN node information, connection status, traffic usage, order information, and necessary technical logs.

5. VPN Communication Content We Do Not Log

5.1 Communication Content

We do not record or store the following as user activity logs for the purpose of monitoring your online behavior:

• Contents of webpages you visit;

• Search terms entered into third-party websites;

• Articles or webpage contents you read;

• Chat or instant messaging contents;

• Telegram or other messaging contents;

• Email body contents;

• Files, images or messages transmitted through third-party applications;

• Passwords entered into third-party websites or applications;

• Contents of data packets transmitted through the VPN.

VPN technology necessarily requires network traffic to pass through VPN servers selected or assigned for the connection.

The technical transmission of traffic through a VPN server does not mean that we store the contents of those communications as user activity logs.

5.2 Connection and Service Data

We may process service-related data including:

• IP addresses;

• VPN node information;

• Network type;

• Connection status;

• Traffic usage;

• User ID;

• Membership status;

• Logged-in device information;

• Necessary troubleshooting logs;

• Necessary security and anti-abuse logs.

Such information is used only as reasonably necessary for VPN connectivity, traffic calculation, account and device management, service security, fraud or abuse prevention, and technical troubleshooting.

We do not use the contents of VPN communications to build advertising profiles.

6. Memberships, Data Packages, Dedicated IP Services and Payments

迅狐 (Foxlink VPN) may offer memberships, data packages, dedicated IP services, subscriptions, and other paid digital services.

When you make a purchase, we may process:

• Order number;

• Product or service name;

• Subscription or package type;

• Order amount;

• Payment channel;

• Payment status;

• Payment time;

• Third-party transaction or purchase identifier;

• Information necessary for refunds, reconciliation and customer support.

6.1 Google Play Purchases

For the version distributed through Google Play, purchases of applicable digital products and services are processed through the Google Play billing system, subject to Google Play's applicable policies.

Google or its payment service providers process the payment credentials necessary to complete the transaction.

迅狐 (Foxlink VPN) may receive information necessary to verify and fulfill the purchase, such as:

• Information necessary to verify entitlement or process refunds.

We do not receive or store your full payment card number, Google Account payment password, or other payment authentication credentials used by Google.

6.2 Apple App Store Purchases

Where purchases are provided through the Apple App Store version of Foxlink VPN, applicable in-app purchases may be processed by Apple.

Apple handles payment credentials under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.

We may receive transaction identifiers, product information, subscription status, purchase status, or other information reasonably necessary to verify and provide the purchased service.

We do not receive your Apple ID password or full payment card information from Apple.

6.3 Other Distribution Channels

Versions of Foxlink VPN distributed outside Google Play may, where permitted by applicable platform rules and law, support other payment methods such as:

• WeChat Pay;

• Alipay.

These payment methods are applicable only where they are offered in the relevant version or distribution channel.

The Google Play-distributed version does not use WeChat Pay or Alipay as a substitute for Google Play's billing system for transactions that are required to use Google Play billing.

Third-party payment providers independently process payment credentials in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We generally receive only the transaction information reasonably necessary to confirm payment, activate services, reconcile transactions, process refunds and provide customer support.

7. Referral, Promotion and Attribution Information

迅狐 (Foxlink VPN) may provide referral codes, referral rewards, promotional campaigns, channel attribution and similar features.

Where these features are enabled, we may process:

• Referral codes;

• Referral relationships;

• Promotional channel identifiers;

• Promotional link parameters;

• Installation source;

• Installation and activation information;

• First-launch information;

• App wake-up information;

• Necessary device and network information for attribution and anti-fraud.

Certain attribution or deep-link functions may be supported by OpenInstall / open+.

The information processed depends on the operating system, SDK version and functionality actually enabled.

We use attribution information for referral rewards, channel statistics, campaign measurement, deep linking, fraud prevention and related operational purposes.

8. Favorites, Saved Nodes and Application Settings

When you actively use functions such as node favorites, saved nodes or application settings, we may process and store information including:

Where account synchronization is supported, some configuration information may be associated with your user account so that settings can be restored across sessions or devices.

10. Camera Permission and System Capabilities

10.1 Camera Permission

迅狐 (Foxlink VPN) may provide a function allowing users to scan a QR code, for example to authenticate or log in to a PC version of the service.

Camera permission is requested only when you actively use a feature requiring camera access.

Real-time camera images used for QR recognition are not intended to be stored as user photographs.

After a QR code is recognized, information such as the QR recognition result, temporary login token, or authentication credential necessary to complete the requested login may be transmitted to our servers.

If you deny camera permission, VPN functions unrelated to QR scanning will remain available, although the QR-code-based feature will not function.

You can disable camera permission through your operating system settings.

10.2 Network Access

Internet and network access are required to perform functions including:

• Account registration and login;

• Retrieving VPN node information;

• Establishing VPN connections;

• Checking membership status;

• Synchronizing purchases;

• Communicating with service servers;

• Providing online customer services.

10.3 VPN System Capability

迅狐 (Foxlink VPN) uses VPN or network tunneling capabilities provided by the operating system.

The operating system may display a VPN authorization notice when you first attempt to establish a VPN connection.

A VPN connection can be established only after the necessary system authorization has been granted.

11. Third-Party Services, SDKs and Service Providers

We may use third-party service providers where reasonably necessary to provide specific functions.

The exact third-party services applicable to you depend on the platform, distribution channel, operating system and functions you use.

11.1 OpenInstall / open+

11.4 WeChat Pay

The relevant payment service is provided by Tenpay Payment Technology Co., Ltd. or other applicable WeChat Pay service entities.

We may provide information necessary to create or verify a transaction, such as:

We may receive information such as:

• Transaction number;

• Payment time.

We do not obtain your WeChat Pay password.

11.5 Alipay

The relevant services may be provided by Alipay (China) Network Technology Co., Ltd. and applicable Alipay service entities.

We may provide information necessary to complete or verify a transaction, such as:

We do not obtain your Alipay payment password.

11.6 Alibaba Cloud

Our primary backend business data is currently hosted using Alibaba Cloud infrastructure in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

• Membership information;

• Order information;

• User settings;

12. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We generally do not provide your personal information to third parties unrelated to providing or supporting 迅狐 (Foxlink VPN).

Where reasonably necessary, information may be processed by service providers such as:

• Cloud infrastructure providers;

• Payment processors;

• App stores;

• Security service providers;

• Customer support service providers.

We seek to limit information provided to such parties to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable function.

13. Data Storage and Cross-Border Processing

Our primary backend business data is currently hosted in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region using Alibaba Cloud infrastructure.

Accordingly, information necessary to provide the service may be transferred to and processed in Hong Kong, including:

• Account information;

• Device and login information;

• IP addresses;

• VPN connection information;

• Traffic usage;

• Membership information;

• Order information;

• User configuration information;

• Necessary technical logs.

If you access the service from another country or region, your information may therefore be transferred across national or regional borders.

In addition, when you actively select or connect to a VPN node located in another jurisdiction, such as Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the United States, or another location, your network traffic must technically pass through the selected or assigned VPN server in order to provide the VPN connection requested by you.

Such network transmission does not mean that we store the contents of your VPN communications as user activity logs.

Where applicable law requires consent, contractual safeguards, regulatory filings, security assessments or other measures relating to cross-border processing, we will take appropriate measures as required.

14. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, resolve disputes, maintain security, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

Account Information

Account information and user IDs are generally retained while your account remains active.

Following account deletion, applicable account information will be deleted or anonymized after any necessary verification, refund, dispute, security, accounting or legal retention requirements have been addressed.

Login and Device Information

Login and device information is retained only as reasonably necessary for device management, login security, account security, service management and abuse prevention.

VPN Connection and Traffic Information

VPN connection-related technical information is retained only where reasonably necessary for:

• Connection management;

• Traffic calculation;

• Billing;

• Security;

• Abuse prevention;

• Troubleshooting.

Such information is subject to minimization and technical log rotation procedures.

VPN Communication Content

VPN communication content described in Section 5.1 is not retained as user activity logs.

17.1 Deleting Your Account in the App

Where account creation is available in a version of 迅狐 (Foxlink VPN), an account deletion function should be made available within the application in accordance with applicable platform requirements.

For the Google Play version, users may initiate account deletion through the account deletion function provided within the application.

Before submitting the Google Play version for review, the in-app account deletion option must be available and readily discoverable to users.

17.2 Requesting Account Deletion Outside the App

You may also request deletion of your account outside the application.

We will not ask you to provide your account password by email.

For security reasons, we may require reasonable verification that you are the legitimate owner of the account.

17.3 What Happens After Account Deletion

After a valid account deletion request has been verified and processed:

• The account will be permanently deleted rather than merely frozen or disabled;

• Access to services associated with that account will terminate;

• Personal information associated with the account will be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible;

• Saved settings and account-associated configurations will be deleted or anonymized;

• Information retained only in backup systems will be removed according to normal backup rotation schedules.

Certain information may need to be retained after account deletion where reasonably necessary for:

• Payment and transaction records;

• Refunds and chargebacks;

• Accounting and taxation;

• Fraud prevention;

• Security incident investigation;

• Legal compliance;

• Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims;

• Resolving active disputes.

Any information retained for these purposes will not be used to continue providing ordinary account services or for unrelated marketing purposes.

We generally complete verified account deletion requests within 15 business days, unless applicable law requires or permits a different period.

18. Withdrawal of Permissions and Consent

You may control optional device permissions through your operating system settings.

For example, you may disable camera permission at any time.

If you withdraw a permission necessary for an optional function, that function may no longer work, but unrelated core functions will remain available where technically possible.

Withdrawal of consent or permissions does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before the withdrawal.

迅狐 (Foxlink VPN) is not specifically designed or directed toward children below the minimum age at which they may independently consent to the processing of personal information under applicable law.
